Our Peppermint Hand Sanitizer or Spritzer as we may call it, is scented with peppermint essential oil and doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue!!  In addition, peppermint essential oil is considered to have anti-viral properties.

We were actually requested to make a hand sanitizer last year during the Texas State Fair.   Then we had another request this year and now with the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to move forward.

Due to the alcohol content, this product must be shipped via UPS Ground.  Because of this FREE SHIPPING is only offered on orders over $85 that include this product.  The base shipping rate for orders with this product has been increased to $10.75.  Thank you for your understanding.

This is an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with a formula based on recommendations from the World Health Organization.  I decided not to use aloe vera gel for several reasons.

1. Every supplier that I found used non-natural ingredients to create the gel, even in some cases ingredients that some feel are carcinogenic.
2. While researching aloe vera gel I also came across blogs where the author and its audience were allergic to aloe vera.

I decided that if I was going to make a sanitizer I wanted to make it as all-natural as possible and usable by as many people as possible.  I suppose it could be argued that alcohol is not all-natural, however, everything I have read states that alcohol is the active ingredient in rendering the Coronavirus inactive and so is a required ingredient.

What is it made out of?

The alcohol used is 99% alcohol and the percentage of alcohol in the product itself is over 90%.  I used Peppermint essential oil in the sanitizer both for its pleasing scent but also because it has antiviral properties.  The two remaining ingredients are glycerin and distilled water, both in very small amounts.  The sanitizer is packaged in an aluminum spray bottle so it is recyclable and holds 2.25 oz.  To use; just spritz a couple of times into the palm of your hand and then rub all over your hands for about 20 seconds.

The CDC has repeatedly stressed that washing your hands with soap is best, but if that is not an option using an alcohol hand sanitizer is the next best thing.  If you have to get out and about then grab one of these to take with you.
