Susan’s Soaps & More will be at Ennis Bluebonnet Festival

This weekend is the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival and we will have our same spot down in the parking garage as usual.

This festival is a nice, down home craft show that has been going on for years.  They offer arts & crafts, food, live music and more.  The Ennis Garden club has a booth where you can get maps of the various trails recommended for optimal bluebonnet viewing.  (Note:  These are driving trails, not hiking trails.)

The festival occurs this Friday & Saturday, April 17 & 18 on Main Street.  Just slightly north of Ennis Street off of Main on the west side is a parking area with vendors (usually the Corny Dog guy is set up right there in front.)  Back down into the parking area is a small covered garage area and that is where we are located.  We know.  We know.  We are not as visible there but unfortunately rain is a common occurrence during this time of year and we would rather keep our products protected than be out on the street.  This is one of the 1st shows we ever did and as it’s right in our backyard (so to speak) we have continued to be there for approximately the last eight years.  We have regular customers that even come from Dallas every year.

I urge you to consider attending either for the first time or visit again.  It’s a fun outdoor event and it’s a great way to see our products in person and see what’s new.  You can smell all the scents and test many of the products.  We usually have some show specials and you will definitely save money on shipping.  I am planning to bring some gift basket sets for Mother’s Day Gifts as well as some of our Soap Tulips.  Just a note: We don’t usually bring all of our products with us so if you are planning to be there and want something in particular make sure and contact me so I can bring it for you.  If you do come out please make sure and stop by to say Hi!  The Bluebonnets are getting better every day.  Here’s a link to Ennis Visitors and Convention Center page that has updates on their status as well as some trails listed.
