Yes we really do use real honey in our soaps in addition to real chocolate, real oatmeal, orange peel and all kinds of other natural ingredients. Here at Susan’s Soaps we don’t believe in anything artificial or synthetic going into our products. No artificial colorants, fragrances or preservatives.

I’m so excited!
Texas Works was created by Chet Garner and Vincent Friedewald. They decided to create Texas Works because they believe in the work that Texans are creating and doing. They want to get the word out about these “remarkable Texans with extraordinary talents and enough courage and enough crazy to become product entrepreneurs.”

A Little Housekeeping at Susan’s Soaps & More (Updated)
Happy Memorial Day
It has been a busy few weeks. Jerry and I went on vacation to Scottsdale and then the Grand Canyon for a few days. We flew back home on Sunday, May 12th Mother’s Day. Monday was busy with orders and then since it was my birthday we went out for dinner that night. By Wednesday I was down with a 24 hour stomach bug and then early, early Friday morning it was off to the HSCG conference here in Grapevine. It was a great conference and I learned a lot. One of my main take aways was that I need to get serious about switching my website to a new ecommerce platform. I think I have found a platform but it is going to take a lot of work and time. In the meantime we do have some more products back in stock like our Cinnamon Spice Soap. Cinnamon Spice Soap Till the next post, Susan

Restocking Soaps & More
Lemongrass Soap Our Lemongrass soap is now back in stock as well as Patchouli, Peppermint & Tea Tree and more Eucalyptus & Tea Tree. I apologize that we have been out of a number of products lately, but we are working hard to get everything made and ready to ship. Typically we let our inventory levels go down at the end of the year since we have to pay property tax on everything in stock on December 31. We then were vendors at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo which resulted in great sales but also running us out of a number of products. We already have restocked the soaps mentioned above and have Lavender Rosemary, Lime & Sage, Almond Oatmeal and Ginger Lime curing on the shelves. So we should be fully restocked on everything soon. There is also a new soap special on our website: Orange Clove. And I wanted to mention once again that we will be at the Houston Stock Show and Rodeo beginning this Tuesday. We are leaving tomorrow and returning Friday which means that any orders placed this coming week will not ship out until the following week. Till the next post, Susan…
